Agga app part of ICE-SAR's safety campaign for small-boat fishermen

Alda Safety and Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue (ICE-SAR) are now collaborating on the promotion of the Agga app, which is free for small-boat fishermen across the country. The goal of the collaboration is to increase the safety of small-boat fishermen with simple and accessible solutions that support safe fishing.
The Agga app is specially designed with the needs of small-boat fishermen in mind and modernizes, facilitates and simplifies all aspects of small-boat safety management. The app allows, among other things, to register inspections of the equipment on board, perform hazard assessments and access various education on rescue and safety issues.
Now that the small-boat fishing season is in operation, ICE-SAR is emphasizing the safety of small-boat fishermen, and is promoting, among other things, the Agga app as part of their education and marketing online and on television.
We at Alda Safety are very proud of this collaboration with ICE-SAR, as our common goal is to promote a safety culture at sea and enable fishermen to utilize simple solutions that can make all the difference when times are tough. With increased use of the Agga app, great opportunities are created to reduce risk and enhance the safety of those at sea.
