New Ásgrímur Halldórsson arrives at Skinney-Þinganes

We at Alda Safety would like to sincerely congratulate Skinney-Þinganes and the crew of Ásgrímur Halldórsson on their new and impressive ship, which sailed home to Höfn in Hornafjörður earlier this month.
Ásgrímur Halldórsson is a 75-meter-long pelagic ship equipped with the latest technology for fishing and processing. The ship was recently delivered from the Karstensens shipyard in Denmark and is one of the most complete pelagic ships in the country. On the return trip, Captain Sigurður Ægir Brynjólfsson was on the bridge along with a crew of ten, and the trip to Iceland went well.
Crew safety is an increasingly important aspect of modern fishing and it is gratifying to see companies like Skinney-Þinganes place great emphasis on professionalism, organization and continuous improvements in safety management at sea. Alda has there been able to participate in a journey with the company and support strong safety and quality work that relates to daily operations and the welfare of fishermen.
We at Alda Safety are proud to be part of that journey and look forward to continued collaboration with Skinney-Þinganes and the crews of Ásgrímur and other vessels.
We sincerely congratulate Skinney-Þinganes, the crew and everyone involved in the project on the new vessel and wish them success and good luck in their fishing.
