When the opportunity floats by - Gullver's creative crew

Recently, the creative crew of Gullver certainly seized the opportunity when they saw three fishing containers floating east of the country. They decided to quickly conduct a Man Overboard rescue drill, as the operations of “rescuing containers” are quite comparable to those of rescuing a person from the sea.

The exercise was of course registered in Alda with many photos, and in a detailed and interesting description it was stated that the communication between the captain and all crew members was crucial as the conditions were not good enough to launch the MOB boat.

The rescue drill went really well and was very useful. After 45 minutes the containers were on board - but the importance of responding quickly was clearly seen in the fact that the last container managed to drift about 0.4 nautical miles during the rescue.

Well done for responding so quickly and well, crew of Gullver!
